Never stamped a club? Start here.
Practise first
Your first few strikes go on an old iron or a scrap of steel, not your good wedge. You learn how hard to hit before it counts.
Lay it out
Masking tape over the spot. Press each stamp lightly into the tape to check placement and spacing before you commit.
Strike it
Clamp the head on a solid surface. One firm, square strike per letter with a 1 to 2 kg hammer.
Fill it
Run the paint pen through the impression, leave it ten minutes, then one swipe with a barely damp acetone wipe.
Not in the kit: a 1 to 2 kg hammer, a hard surface and an old club to practise on.
Before you buy.
Do I need a code?
No. The 40% is already taken off the price you see. Add to cart and check out.
How long is the sale on?
While stocks last.
Will I ruin my wedge?
Not if you practise first. Do your first strikes on an old club or scrap steel, check spacing on masking tape, clamp the head and then stamp. The stamp goes on the back, toe or hosel, never the face, so it does not change how the club plays. The full walkthrough is in our stamping guide.
What if a letter goes crooked?
The tape check catches most of it before you strike. The paint fill comes off with acetone and can be redone. The stamp itself is permanent, so take your time on placement.
Forged or cast?
Both work. Forged heads are softer and take a stamp easily. Cast heads are harder and need a firmer strike, so get the feel on scrap first.
What else do I need?
A 1 to 2 kg hammer or mallet and a hard, solid surface. A steel plate or a concrete paver gives a deeper impression than timber. Neither is in the kit.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Order early. Delivery times are on our shipping policy.
What if I change my mind?
Unused kits can be returned. See our refund policy. Anything faulty is covered by Australian consumer guarantees either way.
